Late for Dinner

It’s not that we come home late after work because we really want to, but let me put it in perspective. After a long and crazy day spent in meetings and putting out fires, the only time that we can do our actual job duties like reading and responding to emails, reviewing contracts, putting together presentations and finally listening to voice mails is after the normal work day. At this time we can really focus on our jobs and make the push to prepare for the next day. It’s not because we don’t want to deal with the screaming kids, help with the kitchen tasks, listen about the neighborhood gossip and how the neighbor dog crapped on the front porch. Or even answer the door for the kids selling overpriced catalog junk to pay for their band camp outing. It’s not that…really…    |      2015
